I understand how it feels to live with the legacy of trauma. Life can often feel overwhelming, confusing or stuck, especially when old experiences echo in the present.
You might feel on edge, shut down, or unsure why you react the way you do. You don’t have to work this out on your own; therapy can be a safe place to explore what’s happening with compassion and curiosity.
A trauma-informed, neuroscientific lens
I work from a trauma-informed perspective, drawing on what we know about how the brain and nervous system respond to stress and perceived threat.
Together we pay gentle attention to your thoughts, emotions and body, so that your system can begin to feel safer and more regulated. Over time, this can create more space, choice and ease in how you respond to the inevitable challenges of life.
Starting with you
Before we move into deeper trauma work, we spend time simply getting to know you. I take a person-centered approach at this initial stage, listening carefully to how life feels from you, and what you hope for from therapy.
As our relationship grows and you feel more grounded with me, we can gently begin to work with trauma together.
What it’s like to work with me
Therapy can feel daunting, especially if you have learned to cope by keeping things inside. In our work, there is no rush and no pressure to share anything before you feel ready.
I offer a calm, steady and non-judgemental space where all parts of you are welcome.

Sessions begin by establishing a felt sense of safety. We move at a pace your nervous system can handle, ensuring you never feel overwhelmed while exploring difficult experiences.
Mind-body connection
In our sessions, we practice noticing how thoughts and physical sensations interact. You will learn to observe your internal state with curiosity rather than being overwhelmed by it.
Integrated healing
Each session is a collaborative process where therapeutic healing meets forward-looking coaching, helping you reclaim your narrative and move toward your goals with clarity.
